Here is a useful travel checklist.

Trip to Europe, Christmas 2000 and New Year's Eve 2001

Here are some pictures from our vacation to Europe (December 1998/January 1999). We visited the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and the Czech Republic.

These were taken in Rotterdam, at Peter's parents house:

Peter, Janine, Lex,
Willy, Fred

Lex, Hilbert, Deborah

Willy & Fred

Mara, Hilbert, Sanne, Evert-Jan,
Deborah, Annelou

And here are some pictures from places in the Netherlands:
Palace Soestdijk, the residence of Princess Juliana, the former Queen. When we took this picture, the princess just returned from the hospital where she went a day ago with heart problems. There were other photographers waiting for her return...
A statue in the Hague
Volendam,
a famous fishing village

The harbor

A street in a little town in Zeeland
The IJsselmeer, just north
of Durgerdam.
As you can see, the road and land on
the right are below sealevel.

This is a poster of the fireworks safety campaign. If you're not careful, this is how to hitch-hike...
The market place
of Delft

And a picture of a market square in Antwerp, Belgium
This is in Weimar (Eastern Germany), where we spend the night on our way to the Czech Republic. Morgan, our dog, is a Weimaraner, originally from this area. Weimar is pronounced the cultural capital of Europe in 1999.
